Product
To eliminate skin imperfections and keep the skin looking vital, the plasma pen targets the fibroblast cells in your skin which are responsible for producing regenerative protein.
This stimulation process restores your skin by (1) breaking down damaged tissue and (2) regenerating it through small scabs, or crusts, that form on the treated area.
After healing, these scabs fall off and new skin resurfaces looking healed, tighter and more youthful.
Using the Neuderma Plasma Pen is simple and straightforward:
1. Turn on the pen and select the intensity level based on the condition you’re treating. For large growths, such as skin tags or big moles, set a higher intensity level. For small spots, like dark spots, decrease the intensity.
2. Start treating your skin by gently applying the pen onto the target area. The idea is to carefully poke the area for 1-2 seconds at a time until it’s covered with small dots. Just make sure not to overtreat it or poke too deep into your skin to avoid damaging it.
3. After treatment, the healing process will take place, with scabs forming and later falling to show new, tender skin.
Be sure to read the guidebook included in your order for a full step-by-step guide.
The healing process is very quick compared to traditional cosmetic procedures.
You may not look your absolute best right after completing your session, but healing will occur within 5–7 days. In some cases it can take up to 18 days. You’ll start to see real results on the treated area in 2–3 weeks, when elastin and collagen production starts.
On the other hand, removing a skin tag doesn’t require any healing. Once you remove it, it’s gone!
After a fibroblast session, results in the treated area may be noticeable in 4-8 days.
However, the final outcome of the treatment can typically become apparent after 2-3 weeks, when elastin and collagen production starts.
The Neuderma Plasma Pen was specifically designed to leave no scars or scratches after use. After treatment, avoid sun exposure and tanning beds to the treated area, as this skin is still healing.
Once the scabbing process is complete, always apply broad spectrum SPF 50 or higher to the area for 10 weeks after your last treatment.
For most people, fibroblast treatments won't hurt, but users have reported mild to medium discomfort in some cases. Some areas, like around the eyes, are more sensitive than others, but a numbing cream (Lidocaine 5%) can often be used to soothe any pain.
It ultimately depends on each person’s tolerance and response to plasma therapy, but when compared to surgical procedures, the pain isn’t significant and the healing process is much shorter.
Each plasma pen needle may be used for the entirety of one treatment session, allowing you to treat multiple skin blemishes at a time. However, needles should be disposed after each session.
Not replacing needles after each treatment session may result in increased pain and higher risk of infection, so it's very important to replace them as recommended.
If the needle doesn’t generate a plasma arc or if you feel any increased discomfort, replace it right away.
You can get replacement needles anytime here.
Yes! It's fully rechargeable and can last up to 5 hours after being fully charged.
Anyone with serious skin disorders, autoimmune disorders, cancer, or anyone subject to blood thinners, pacemakers or special medical treatments should not use plasma pens. Also, individuals with dark skin tones (i.e. skin types 4-6 on the Fitzpatrick scale) should not use plasma pens due to increased risk to hyperpigmentation and unwanted scarring.
If you have any questions or concerns, always consult with a dermatologist, licensed professional, or physician for professional advice.
